ADHD Evaluations for Adults

  • Are you an adult looking for a brief ADHD screen without having to wait for or finance a complete neuropsychological evaluation?

  • Does your employer or college/university need documentation of your symptoms, diagnosis, and recommendations to consider accommodations for you?

  • Is your PCP/psychiatrist looking for more information and/or a diagnosis of ADHD/ADD to assist them with a medication evaluation?

If you’ve answered “yes” to any of the above, we may be able to help.

This evaluation aims to provide adults with a relatively quick screening for ADHD/ADD symptoms (2-3 hours) without having to wait several months to participate in a full neuropsychological evaluation (typically 4-7 hours), or when it might not be necessary.  The screening consists of a clinical interview, psychological questionnaires, and rating scales.  After the evaluation is completed, the clinician provides a feedback session with recommendations and a brief 2-3 page report.

Our ADHD evaluations OFFER a quick turnaround.

We want to ensure you receive the help you need quickly and easily.

Our brief ADHD evaluations can be an excellent option for some adults; however, they may not be suitable for everyone. Please consider the following before scheduling:

  • Limited Scope: This evaluation focuses solely on ADHD and does not assess for other conditions such as autism spectrum disorders, brain injuries, or dementia.

  • Medical Considerations: If you have a medical condition that may affect cognitive functioning—such as multiple concussions, active thyroid issues, untreated sleep apnea, or long COVID—this screening may not be appropriate for you.

  • Screening vs. Comprehensive Evaluation: This assessment is a screening tool, not a complete neuropsychological or psychological evaluation. It identifies potential ADHD symptoms but does not provide an in-depth psychological assessment.

  • No Guaranteed Diagnosis: Completing the screening does not guarantee a diagnosis of ADHD/ADD.

  • Next Steps: A complete neuropsychological evaluation may be recommended if the screening indicates the need for further assessment. In that case, we will provide referrals to appropriate providers.
