Stress isn't just in your head.

It lives in your body, too.

The Regulation Room is a calm, body-first space inside Well Life Therapy, where vibroacoustic and bio-regulation sessions help your nervous system downshift out of survival mode — so you can think clearly, breathe easier, and feel like yourself again.

“Just try to relax.”

“Have you tried meditating?”

“It’s all in your head.”

   “Maybe you’re just too sensitive.”

“Just think positive.”

You’ve heard it all. You’ve tried a lot of it.

And still — the racing heart, the tight chest, the 3 a.m. thoughts, the bone-deep tiredness. They keep showing up.

That’s not a personal failing. When your body is stuck in survival mode, talking can only get you so far. Your mind may know you’re safe — but if your body doesn’t feel safe, the symptoms keep running the show.

Here’s what often gets left out

You’re not broken. You’re dysregulated.

Your nervous system isn’t failing you — it’s doing exactly what it was built to do in a world that keeps asking too much. Regulation work teaches your body, gently and repeatedly, what safe feels like again.

Revved up

Fight or flight

Racing thoughts, irritability, a body that can’t switch off. Anxiety lives here.

Shut down

Freeze & collapse

Numb, foggy, flat, exhausted. Depression often feels like this.

The goal

Regulated

Grounded, present, able to feel your feelings without being flooded by them.

Our services

Regulation looks different for everyone. So does the reset.

Sessions are 15 to 60 minutes, guided by our team, in a private, quiet room designed for your senses to settle.

Sound you can feel

Vibroacoustic Therapy (VAT)

Rest in our sensory sound lounge while low-frequency sound vibrations move gently through your body. Many people describe it as being held — a deep, full-body exhale your mind doesn't have to work for.

  • Self-guided or clinician-led
  • 15, 30- and 60-minute sessions

Gentle pulsed energy

Bio-Regulation Therapy (BRT)

Lie back on a PEMF mat that delivers gentle pulsed electromagnetic frequencies — a quiet, non-invasive way to support relaxation, rest, and recovery when your system has been running on empty.

  • Non-invasive and drug-free
  • 30- and 60-minute sessions

What to expect

Fifteen to sixty minutes. Nothing to perform.

01

Arrive & check in

A quick check-in on how your body and mind are feeling today — no long intake, no pressure.

02

Settle in

Get comfortable in the room. Dim lights, soft blankets, and quiet are all part of the experience.

03

Let your body lead

Your session runs on its own. Rest, drift, or simply notice what shifts — there's no wrong way to do it.

04

Integrate

Take a few minutes to come back slowly, with simple ways to carry that calm into the rest of your day.

It's not a quick fix. It's a nervous system reset.

Your body isn't the barrier. It's the way through.

No more white-knuckling through the day. No more coping as a lifestyle. Because when your body feels safe:

  • You think more clearly
  • You breathe easier
  • You feel like yourself again

Why the body comes first

Hi, I'm Dr. Julie Jones.

My earliest passion was neurobiology and neuroscience — how the nervous system shapes the way we think, feel, and respond to the world around us.

In more than 25 years of working with clients, I've seen the same pattern again and again: physiology really does come first. When chronic stress, persistent anxiety, or trauma locks your mind and body into a state of hyperarousal, your nervous system struggles to regulate itself. In that state, talk therapy can be a real challenge — clients understand what's happening, and still feel stuck.

That's why I believe in bottom-up approaches. Body-centered work supports your nervous system directly, helping it reconnect and find balance. As your window of tolerance expands, you feel more resilient and better able to manage the demands of life.

The Regulation Room is a place to practice feeling safe — not just talk about it.
