Taylor Zmijewski, LPCA
Licensed professional counselor Associate
Hi there! My name is Taylor Zmijewski (she/her), and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPCA) with a deep commitment to supporting individuals on their journey toward healing and self-discovery. I work with adolescents (13+) and adults of all ages.
Since establishing my interest in the mental health field, I've had the privilege of working with diverse populations facing a range of challenges. My journey into the field began with my own lived experience going to therapy as a child and grew into a deeper curiosity for how others could be helped in similar ways. Over the years, this passion has evolved into a profound commitment to empowering individuals to overcome obstacles and live fulfilling lives.
I hold a Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling from Boston College and specialize in working with women from all backgrounds and LGBTQIA+ folks. Whether it's navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, or relationship issues, I provide a safe and non-judgmental space for clients to explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences.
My approach to therapy is collaborative, rooted in person-centered, cognitive-behavioral, and feminist therapies. I believe in the power of our partnership and tailor each session to meet your unique needs and goals. Through evidence-based techniques and a celebratory, affirming lens, we can foster resilience, promote self-awareness, and cultivate positive change together.
Taylor participates with Anthem, Aetna, Cigna, and Husky.
Taylor provides in-person care on Mondays and Fridays.
A Little More About Me
I am a queer, Asian-biracial counselor. Because of my identities, I find purpose in using aspects of my lived experience to support those within and outside of my communities.
In my free time, I love to read and listen to audiobooks, especially romance novels! I also enjoy spoiling my cat Salem (and my friends’ fur babies) with new treats, toys, and pets. I am a huge fangirl and particularly enjoy Taylor Swift, Chappell Roan, and MUNA.
