Lisette Nosel, MFTA

Marriage & Family Therapy Associate

Hi, my name is Lisette Nosel (she/her) and I am a Marriage and Family Therapist. As a therapist, I empower individuals while supporting them along their journey. I provide a safe environment for individuals to process and explore thoughts, feelings, and emotions. The process of therapy can be challenging at times, especially at the beginning. Together, however, with time, progress is attainable. I assist individuals in learning their strengths and developing skills that can be utilized outside the therapy room. I have experience working with individuals, couples, and families, focusing on relationship dynamics, exploring patterns of interactions within systems, and how these factors impact an individual’s current level of functioning, with attention to concerns such as anxiety disorders, self-harm, trauma, communication issues, life transitions, stress management, and depression.

I received my master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Central Connecticut State University. I have worked in outpatient settings and crisis intervention. My approach is person-centered. I assist individuals in becoming more self-aware as well as being mindful in how one communicates and set boundaries in relation with others.

Lisette participates with Anthem, Aetna, Cigna, and Husky.

Lisette will be providing in-person sessions on Tuesdays and Fridays.

A Little More About Me

In my personal time, I like to practice my own self-care and spend time with family and friends. I enjoy taking walks, exercising, being outside by a firepit, at a rooftop restaurant or by the beach with a book. I also love watching movies, painting my nails, and relaxing with a face mask.
